IKEA Donates First Tiny Home to Support Healing for Homeless Seniors

At Towne Twin Village in San Antonio, IKEA U.S. saw an opportunity to do more than furnish a space—they saw a chance to create a true home. In partnership with WestEast Design, they’re building a sustainable tiny home that offers stability and comfort to seniors who have faced homelessness, disabilities, or chronic illness. This project is about more than walls and a roof; it’s about fostering healing and reducing the risk of re-traumatization, creating a sanctuary for those who need it most.
