OneRise Wichita is designed to tackle critical issues such as homelessness, mental health care, and access to essential services. The project’s mission is to create a holistic environment where individuals and families can receive comprehensive support, from mental health treatment to permanent housing, all in one location. The Community Care Center(CCC), a cornerstone of the project, provides non-congregate shelter to maintain privacy and dignity for men, women, and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Located in Wichita, Kansas, the OneRise campus integrates affordable housing, supportive services, and behavioral health facilities, making it a vital resource for the local community. The campus design fosters connection with its surroundings while providing a secure, welcoming environment for its users.
This project serves a wide range of individuals, including those experiencing homelessness, individuals in need of mental health support, and families seeking stability. In addition to housing, the campus includes a behavioral mental health hospital, a childcare facility, and a neighborhood healthcare center. The hoped-for outcome is long-term recovery, stability, and reintegration into society, creating a transformative impact on the community and its residents.
